Double-Sided Polishing Line | Integrated Nock System

This double-sided polishing line is designed to achieve a uniform, high-quality skinning on hams, optimizing yield and significantly reducing manual handling. The system features two Nock CB-501/1000 skinning machines installed in-line, with a central gravity turner that automatically flips the ham to allow for complete double-sided polishing.

System Operation / Funcionamiento del sistema

  1. Automated Infeed: The ham enters the first skinner via a conveyor belt equipped with a special infeed roller, ensuring constant and safe feeding.

  2. First-Side Skinning: The first surface is precision-skinned.

  3. Gravity Turner: The product moves to a central flipping station where gravity turns the ham automatically, eliminating the need for manual intervention.

  4. Second-Side Skinning: The ham enters the second skinner to process the opposite side.

  5. Continuous Workflow: The entire assembly is connected by conveyor belts, ensuring a continuous production flow and a homogeneous finish on all pieces.
